Israel Journey #3C – Coming to You Live

Live from the bus, it’s 3C—we are having a fantastic and super busy week!

Here are some words from our wonderful Emily J. and Estee M. about our trip so far: “The past week has been jam-packed with activities and spending time with this amazing group of people. We visited Tel Aviv and Jaffa, exploring the amazing food and culture within such a vibrant city. We also visited a community on the border with Gaza and it was truly an amazing experience to be so close to the border. My favorite part has been spending time on the bus getting to know each other and laughing over everything. As we start the last week of our trip, I am so excited to swim in the Dead Sea and hike Masada!”

More from Thalia about our recent expeditions:

“The last three days have been some of our busiest days of the whole trip. We started our day in Eilat hiking in a canyon, snorkeling in the sea, and banana boating. We spent some time shopping in the Ice Mall, and then stopped by Yotveta to get ice cream. The next day, we took a tour of the kibbutz to get a view of the Jordan border and meet their cows. We headed to the Dead Sea to float in the hot water and slather mud everywhere. Afterwards, we drove out to the Bedouin tents in the desert where we learned about Bedouin life, stargazed (the big dipper was the biggest we’ve ever seen it), and made s’mores. The very next morning, we woke up at 4 am to go hike up Masada. The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous. We came back for breakfast, rode camels, and went to Ein Gedi to swim in the spring.”

Now, we’re headed back to Jerusalem to finish our trip off strong. Yalla!
