Italy #1: Pasta & Canals… We Must Be in Italy

It’s hard to believe we’ve only been in Italy for three days! On Wednesday, we landed in Milan in the morning and made our way to the city center. There, we had a chance to shop, eat lunch, and try delicious gelato! The first of many. Man it was hot out! Afterwards, we boarded our bus and headed to our hotel for some much needed rest and relaxation. We were hoping to cool off in a pool, but not at this hotel. Fingers crossed for the next one. We ate a yummy pasta dinner… we must be in Italy! After doing a few icebreakers, we finally had a chance to get some sleep after a lot of travel.

On Thursday, we left Milan and made our way to beautiful Verona. We saw the Romeo and Juliet balcony and got some good luck touching Juliet’s breast. We walked around the marketplace, grabbed lunch, took some great insta pics, and had EVEN MORE gelato! We then ventured to Florence, said bye bye to our bus, and greeted the great canals of Venezia!!!! They. Were. AMAZING! We enjoyed a beautiful gondola ride and some authentic pizza afterwards for dinner. Finally, we walked back to our hotel through the winding roads and canals of Venice. We are so excited to see the Jewish museum, witness glass blowing, and take a dip in the water tomorrow! It’s been H O T.
