Pacific Connect: The Puget Sound to the Olympic National Park

Hello! We have been busy! Yesterday we did a beautiful hike in Mount Rainier National Park. It was majestic and green and simply beautiful. We ended our evening by walking from University of Washington to the downtown area to watch the Fourth of July fireworks show on the water. It was an Independence Day we will never forget.

This morning we loaded up our bus and headed out of Seattle. We took the ferry across Puget Sound to Bremerton and went to tour the naval ship, the USS Turner Joy. It was really interesting meeting the veterans who gave us the tour and exploring the ship. After that we hit the road for Olympic National Park. We were all blown away with how beautiful and awe inspiring the mountains are. The trip seems to get more and more beautiful each day.
